So, when the next show came and then the next, she was still asking. So, I sat down and put   a small catalog  together. I started out with about ten items total, and as they say, the rest is history. Our catalog today carries well over fifty items with more on the way, along with many opitions. We started out with just a few bridles and halters, now we have wonderful saddles and costumes. So please go and vist our online catalog for a small sampling of what we have to offer you. We always will to try just about anything.

Now a little about myself. I come by my love of horses, both real and models, quite naturally.   I have always had horses in my life thanks to my farher, who also grew up with them, loved  and admired them. I use to train professionally until I got married in "88"{now divorced}. I have riden many different disciplenes throughout my career: Western/English Pleasre horses, 3-Day Eventing, Hunters/Jumpers, both Western/English Equitation horses, and I have done some Driving as well, although mostly for fun.

So, when I started making model horse tack, I wanted to get as close as possible to the real       thing as I could make it,and it really helps that I have most of the real thing in my own tackroom.   So anytime, I need to see how something is made, I just go grab it and play.

I'd like to take a moment to note some special thank yous.
To Diane Jenkins.... that person who kept bugging for the bridle. Thanks for keeping at me and giving me an outlet for my talent.
To Jennifer Harris....Thanks for the incuragement , support, and advice.
To my sisters, Susan and Annette.... thanks for all your support and friendship, without your pushing sometimes, I might have given up.
To all of you have bought my tack over the years and enjoyed it.
And last of all, my father and all the horses I have trainned and riden over the years, they made me tough and gave me the knowlege to know what looks right.

Hi, My name is Trisha and let me tell you how KMT got started.  I have always had Breyer models since I was a kid, playing with  them as we all did. But I didn't start showing and showing them seriously until about 1994. I had done some remaking, both horses      and tack, but just for fun.

When I was at one of my first shows, someone saw a Dressage  bridle I had made and wanted to know what I would charge to make one.  I never thought I could make LSQ tack professionaly, so I kinda put her off thinking she would forget. Boy, was I wrong.
